“With virtual training, we are able to reach more people.”- Jackie Boucher

Published on December 7, 2021

In a recent interview for Edina Magazine, our President Jackie Boucher shares how virtual training helps reach more medical professionals and how Children’s HeartLink medical volunteers use new technologies like mixed reality smartglasses, Microsoft HoloLens, to coach and mentor their peers on the other side of the world. With limited international travel during the pandemic made and a need to continue to support health care professionals, we adapted to a virtual model. Boucher also discusses how even small individual donations can help Children’s HeartLink make a large impact globally.

Edina Magazine is a local monthly publication that “highlights local residents with stories to tell” and “emphasizes the best our community has to offer.”
