Thank You for Your Support!

Hari from India shares his story about how his battle against heart disease has changed his life

On Friday evening, October 26th, 650 supporters stood with us to champion the cause of children who need medical care to survive and thrive. We were inspired by the generosity of those who chose to support our mission. Thanks to you, we exceeded our fundraising goal!

We were inspired by the speakers and their vision for a world where more children with heart disease get the medical care they need and deserve. We heard from HeartLink Gala Honorary Chair Richard Anderson, who talked about our moral obligation to share the proven skills and approaches we know will save lives. We heard from our President Jackie Boucher, who reminded us that thanks to the power of training, no other nonprofit organization in the world has this reach and impact on the lives of children with heart disease.

And we heard a powerful personal story about an Indian patient named Hari and his doctor, Dr. Mahesh, that brought the audience to their feet. We urge you to watch this short video, a wonderful story about heartache, then hope. A story about a doctor who didn’t give up on his patient. It is also a story of coincidence, and a lasting bond between a doctor and a patient.

We’re grateful for the support of all of those who attended, as well as those who were with us in spirit. You allow us to continue our urgently needed work with partners around the world to transform health care for kids with heart disease. Last year we reached over 100,000 children. This year, with your help, we will reach even more children.

Thank you, one and all. Together, we can do a world of good!
