Children’s HeartLink is partnering with Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, India, and Institut Jantung Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, both Children’s HeartLink Centers of Excellence since 2012 and 2016, respectively, to offer a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Sciences for medical professionals from low- and middle-income countries.

Each year, three medical professionals will be selected for a two-year training in three subspecialty tracks: pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiac surgery and pediatric cardiac intensive care. Their training time will be split evenly between Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Institut Jantung Negara.
